About Us

The GPBuddy COVID-19 Community tracker is the result of a collaboration between front line GPs, and GP IT and Data specialists. We realized that, in General Practice, we could help monitor trends in COVID-19 activity in the community and also help identify emerging clusters or surges at an early stage in the infection cycle.  We have been collecting data from a daily GP survey since the 31st of March and are committed to sharing it.  To this end, we are disseminating the results through this website and through social media. We are grateful to the Irish College of General Practitioners and the Department of Public Health and Primary Care, Trinity College Dublin for their support and collaboration. The data collected is already proving very useful and of high quality so please continue to support our efforts and submit your 60-second survey daily.
